You may be thinking about how to earn more, how can you generate another income stream that can help you eliminate the financial burdens on your shoulders. There are plenty of options: traditional corporate 9-5, starting your own brick-and-mortar store, investing in stocks or real estate, or, building your own online business…
But what’s more important before diving into those options and get busy like a bee is to change beliefs and shift the mindset. You’ll know the top money matter that’s keeping you poor today and how can you change it in the most effective way.
We’re living in a digital era where internet and technology provide enormous opportunities for us to generate MULTIPLE income stream at the same time without being overwhelmed or burning ourselves out.
At this point, a lot of people will hesitate and dwell. Why? Because that’s not the information we’re taught since kids. And perhaps many of you have already found out most of phrases closely related to money have negative image.
Try this small exercise, think of 3-5 statements that popped up in your mind right away when it comes to money. What do you have there?
• Money is the root of evil.
• Money doesn’t grow on trees.
• Rich are greedy.
• Making money is hard.
• We can’t afford it.
• Wealth makes people selfish and stingy.
Any of these sounds familiar?
Beliefs like that are limited your mind from achieving what you could have accomplished without you noticing because its’ your subconscious mind that dominates such result.
Therefore the most important thing is to shift the mindset, which would be difficult if you’re over 30 years old, as scientific research shows that ones personalities and habits tend to stay the same after their 30. UNLESS they CONSCIOUSLY put effort to change.
Effective ways to change your beliefs
There are a couple of powerful techniques we can use to reprogram our minds(and they’re scientifically proved). But modern days you’re busy. You already have so many things on hands to be done. Wouldn’t it be great if there’s one best hack that you can start from today?
What I learnt from a famous neuroscientist Dr. Joe Dispenza, who’s also an international lecturer, researcher, corporate consultant, author and educator who’s been giving speeches in more than 33 countries. I’d say by applying the powerful technique will not only change your thoughts and beliefs, but the whole state of being towards growth, health, wealth.
Get beyond the analytical mind
95% of our brain activities are controlled by subconscious mind. And 95% of who we are by the time we’re 35 years old is a memorized set of behaviors, emotional reactions, unconscious habits, hardwired attitudes, beliefs and perceptions that function like a computer program.
So if we want to change the 95% subconscious mind, we have to get beyond the analytical mind. Because the 5 % on which analytical mind can have effects is not going to change us. We might change for a day or a week, but very soon everything will turn back.
Then what exactly can you do to get beyond analytical mind?
Mentally rehearse what you want to achieve in mind.
Close your eyes, telling different narratives to yourself:
“This is too hard. There’s no way I can do it.” -> “I learnt how to do it in 3 months”
“Sh*t hit the fan. I hope this bad situation will end soon.” -> “I’m living a prosperous life and it’s lucky that I get chance to grow over this obstacle.”
“Ugh I want to get rid of belly fat” -> ”I lost 5 pounds by the end of this year.”
“I want to make more money but I don’t have any knowledges and experiences.” -> ”I made my first 10k this year.”
Get the gist?
What this does is to create positive emotions in your mind. The emotions then affect your thoughts and your body. Your body will regard it as a reward which then decide it will do the same thing again which creates a virtuous cycle.
What we do determines who we are. What we do and who we are determine what life we would be living. And the virtuous cycle will lead your life to prosperity, growth, wealth, happiness, fulfillment, and anything that you desire.
So if that’s the life you’re looking for, start changing by changing how you think and feel.
It works the best when you do so after you wake up in the morning because your brain is the most susceptible. And you know what, there’s a very interesting fact about human body: When we’re thinking thoughts in head, emotions are triggered. Our bodies start to feel the emotion of the event, the body doesn’t know the difference between the event that’s taking place in your world or the outer world.
That’s why it’s so powerful to actively CREATE the right thoughts in mind because the emotion aroused by the thoughts have dramatic effects on your body, which then condition you and shape the way you want yourself to become.
So next time, when you wake up in the morning, you might not want to check your phone right away. Checking your Instagram, facebook, emails, texts , et cetera and remind yourself of the problems that you haven’t solved. The same thoughts you had yesterday, which then start triggering the same bad emotions that you experiences in the past. You begin to live in your past again and let your same subconscious mind rules every part in your life. You think of the same things. You experience the same emotions, then you make the same decision, which leads you to live the same life that you don’t really want.
With that said, let’s start getting beyond our analytical mind to live the life we truly want. Shall we? As Carrie Welkerson once said, “The longer you’re not taking actions, the more money you’re losing. How’s beginning to do from today sound?
