(1) Strong resilience.
The ability to bounce and get back up quickly after being attacked by obstacles. Take a closer look at those successful people…their books, articles or actual conversation…you’ll notice a lot of them would say it’s not that they’re smart, they just get back up and move on quickly. They don’t dwell and overthink. Instead, they start with what they have at the time and grow as their businesses rise.
One of my mentor told me, “the key to succeed is to just start. What you have is good enough to start. You and your business will grow faster than the counterpart if you choose “to be ready” to start. Earn while you learn to play a long term game”.
Successful people unsure whether it’s going to work before they execute…they go do anyway. Even if failed, they learn lesson from it then move on. They choose taking two more steps forward rather than spending two more days justifying for themselves.
(2) Indestructible confidence
No it’s not the same as arrogance. They believe they can achieve their goals. They say they can achieve their goals not desire to out-win everybody else. They have great intention in hopes of helping others changing their lives for the better, contributing back to the society in any kinds of form.
Their passion and personal purpose to others keep them taking consistent action. Even when times they fail or don’t know what to do, they hang in there and deeply believe that they will figure it out…no matter what others say. Stop listening to others and start affirming yourself everyday that you are great and you will accomplish your goal no matter what.
(3) Clear self-awareness
They know who they truly are, their strengths and weaknesses. Instead of fixing their weaknesses, they double down on utilizing their strengths to stand out in a crowd.
Everyone has difference talents, personalities, passion. Only yourself know what you’re really good at. Leverage it and stand out in a crowd in your field Try.
Never let others define to your ability. As Albert Einstein said before, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
(4) Workout routine
When you work out, your brain releases endorphin. Which is a chemical that interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce perception of pain. It also trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar with what morphine triggers you. You might feel happy after jogging…that’s often described as “euphoric”, aka “runner’s high”.
It also increases your focus, attention span and boost your productivity. Studies has shown that regular exercise can reduce anxiety, stress, can improve sleep quality and self-esteem.
(5) Healthy Food Diet🥗
Not only what you eat, but also what you drink. 70% of human body is made of water. And human can go without food for about three weeks, but would typically only last three days without water.
On top of survival, productivity will be harmed as well. A study in British Journal of Nutrition(2011) shows that even mild dehydration in men reduced vigilance and memory and increased tension, anxiety, and fatigue.
So YES, drink more water!
As for food, a recent UCLA study found that food containing high fructose will slow down your brain, hamper your memory and learning performance. Food having omega-3 fatty acids are highly recommended (e.g. salmon, walnuts).
Fast food? Not only will it increase your weight, but damage your brain. A study from Cambridge University (2009) found that high-fat diets made laboratory rats not just slower but dumber.
Consider to change diet a bit now?
(6) Promise delivery
Successful people are strong action takers. They deliver what they said what they’re going to do. Under no circumstances will they compromise. And they do it every single day.
One of the most important things rarely being said is, they know to say no. If things are not connecting to the path of reaching their goal, they put it aside, give it zero attention and efforts. As Steve Jobs said before, “Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do.” Desperate to achieve your dream goal? Yes you can do it. Be laser-focused. Stick to what you say you’re going to do and execute it daily.
How many of above traits do you have?
If you have more than 5 of them, congratulations that’s really good. Now, what you need is more skills. Implementing the right skills is the most crucial part leading you to success.
If you know how to work only 7 hours to accomplish the workload that usually take average people 7 days, living up your dream goal isn’t a problem AT ALL, make sense?
