No one likes to fall. But most of the time it is the falls that take us to the next level, make us better, make us progress.
Thomas Edison said “ I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” An extremely powerful mindset to proceed the falling down or the failures in our lives. Each and every failed experiment for Edison is one step closer to his success. The falling forward mindset.
I mean, come on, Let’s face it. We all will fail at some point in our lives. There is just something that we suck at. We might lose. We might embarrass ourselves. And we avoid it because we don’t want others to laugh at us. What if they judge us? What if they make fun of us?
WHAT IF, YOU BECOME SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE YOU FAILED THIS TIME? Look back at how many things you have accomplished! All you need to do is to persist there and keep trying!
How you proceed on the failures determines how successful you’re going to be in your life. There’s an old saying goes “You hang around the barber shop long enough and you’ll get your hair cut.” EVERY time when you failed, you’re one step forward. You keep going, and get what you want.
When I first started online business FROM SCRATCH, oh jeez I can’t count how many failures did I make lol. You know what, I didn’t give up. I kept trying and trying. I didn’t fall back. I made sure I fall forward. The truth is I still will fail from time to time. You know what, that is totally fine because that means I’m improving!
You see, each and every of us has our own talents. You have some special talents that no one else has. You are extremely good at something that other just can’t outwin you. For some of you who’ve been trained in schools or companies, you also have the additional training that can take you to more successes!
The question is, do you have the gut to fail? Honestly, if you don’t fail. You’re not even trying. Failures happen when you try new things, the new things that might take you to the next level. And if you want to get something you’ve never have, the level you’ve never been, you must do something you’ve never done.
Les Brown, an American motivational speaker, making an analogy about this: Imagine you’re on your dead bed, and standing around your dead bed are the ghosts representing your unfulfilled potentials. The ghost of the idea you’ve never acted on. The ghost of the talents you didn’t use. And they’re all standing around your bed, angry, disappointed, and upset. They said “We came to you because you could have brought us to life” they said. “and now we have to go to grave together”.
Now, How many ghosts are going to be there around your bed when your time has come to the end?
